Motor testing with monitors regulating current including electrical circuits
attending to breakdowns adhering to safety principals. Our Electrical Engineers
planning the maintenance of the instrumentation, calibration testing and software integration into user friendly electrical
information including rates. Joining HT cables and termination of MV reticulation ensuring that distribution
systems, within the substation are in line with electricity regulations as mandated by statutes.
Ensuring that
the station’s distribution network is well geared to regulate changes, reflecting costs of supply in the interests of
the customers. Operation of MV & LV networks & construction of electrical infrastructure operating at voltages between
220V & 33KV. Designing medium to low voltage electrical power supply systems, earthing procedures, surge & lightning
protection. Supervision
of contractors at the station & management of colleagues in leadership capacity & training of apprentices. Installation & maintenance of all
electrical, underground & overhead networks, transformers & switching stations. Production of Reports on Electrical Activity carrying out
standby duties. Remote GSM & Satellite installations communication through to the PSTN networks if necessary as information carriers
as backups. Each
Electrical team consists of 2, normally integrated into an electrical company whom insures the connection into the control
room, from which verifies all the information, through tested software.
Over 5000 meters have been installed over 5 years tried & tested on
6 sites & having developed into a modular system with massive managed capacity & hundreds electricians on call enabling
jobs in the local municipality areas.
